Equality, diversity and inclusion

Everyone deserves a fair chance at work. We're committed to recruitment that's open, fair and inclusive.

Our commitment

We treat every candidate fairly and judge them on the skills, experience and potential that matter for the role. We follow the Equality Act 2010 and won't act on any request that would discriminate unlawfully.

Protected characteristics

Under the Equality Act 2010, it's unlawful to discriminate because of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.

What this means in practice

  • We review vacancies before they go live, checking for wording that could exclude suitable people.
  • We assess candidates against the same, relevant criteria.
  • We encourage employers to include salary information and flexible working options where possible.
  • We use plain, inclusive language on our website and in our adverts.

Reasonable adjustments

If you need any adjustments to apply for a role or take part in an interview, please tell us. For example, extra time, a different format or an accessible venue. We'll work with the employer to make it happen.

Raising a concern

If you feel you've been treated unfairly during a recruitment process with us, please contact us at hello@bridgeandtalent.co.uk. We'll take it seriously and respond promptly.
